All of the sudden SQDBX pro is using almost 300meg of RAM? This is after a fresh re-start, I have shut it down and re-started etc. no luck.
A co-worker with more connections running then I have is sitting at roughly 30meg, this is about where I would normally be myself.
What could cause this?
OS: Win 7
Version: SQLDBX PRO V3.51
Thanks,
-Rich

Do you have any connection windows open?

No, I closed all connections and setup to start with none and it's taking 260meg. Now, I am starting with about 10 sessions but none auto connecting on startup. It starts up reasonbly fast too, about 15 seconds.
Thanks,

Can you try one thing.
Create empty SqlDbx.ini file in a same directory where SqlDbx.exe located.
Start SqlDbx. How much memory it consumes?
Exit SqlDbx and delete SqlDbx.ini

Wow, Using your instructions it only cunsumed 2meg.
Put things back the way they were and back up to 260m.

Problem solved.
Came in this morning and the problem fixed itself, no reason I can find at all. I had even left it running all night, no restart and Same amount of sessions open etc. and using only 17m now. Was 260m when I left for the day yesterday. I will assume it was one of the sessions I was using that I must have closed? Sorry, not much help for future problems like this.
